Camp Skyline’s 5th Annual Tour de Food is a fundraiser uniting foodies, farmers, families, cyclists, and outdoor enthusiasts. Bring bikes and good appetites for a day of loving your farmers, your body, your food and the land where it is grown.
Ride the ten mile, the twenty-two mile, or the “tiny trip” routes on beautiful winding dirt and gravel roads around the hills of Almont, Bruce and Dryden. Not a cyclist? Drive your car on the very same roads. Stop along the route to visit local farms, farm markets and artisans.
At the most bountiful time of the year, we welcome you to come and marvel at the fruits of the earth brought to us through hard work and passion. Meet growers cultivating delicious produce, their alpacas, chickens, cows, pigs and turkeys. Learn about maple tree tapping, alpaca wool, the magic of honeybees, and more. Stock up on fall produce and shop local farms.
The annual Tour de Food Harvest Dinner will be crafted using fruit, vegetables, and meat grown by farms and orchards on the tour and served following the ride. Advance online registration is required for dinner (deadline September 18). Seating is limited, so register early!
