The annual Tour de Food Harvest Feast will be crafted using the fruit, vegetables, meat and dairy grown by the farms & orchards on the tour and served between 3:00 and 7:00pm.
Harvest Dinner will be served at Skyline’s Dining Hall between 3:00 and 7:00pm. This year’s main course will be a choice of hamburgers, pulled pork sandwiches or homemade veggie burgers. Sides will include roasted root vegetables, corn on the cob and a variety of salads. Dessert? Something fruity…TBD. As always, each ingredient is selected for its healthfulness and locality. Advance online registration is required for dinner.
Seating is limited, so register early!
Lunch will be available for purchase between 11:00am and 3:00pm in the open air pavilion at Skyline. Vehicle City Tacos is a food truck serving the Flint area with a passion for high quality, locally produced fresh ingredients, made-from-scratch cooking, original recipes, reducing their overall carbon footprint and cycling!

En route sampling: At the stops, you will find farmers, artisans and/or Tour de Food volunteers ready to greet you. They will help direct you to water and perhaps samples of some of the produce available at the stop. Try samples of different varieties of grapes, apples, melons, vegetables, syrup, jams, baked goods and more. Learn about the countless varieties of fruits and vegetables grown in this area.
Farm Purchases & Pick up: : Tour de Food participants are welcomed and encouraged to purchase produce from the stops on the route. Feel free to stock up on everything our local farms have to offer without the worry and hassle of transporting a bushel of apples on your bicycle! Cyclists are welcome to leave purchases at stops to be delivered to Skyline. Cyclists’ purchases will be available for pick up in front of Skyline’s Dining Hall between 6:00 and 7:00pm. If cyclists decide to leave Skyline before the produce is delivered, they are welcome to pick up their purchases from the farms on their way out before 5:00pm.
